With 25 years of experience practicing architecture, Amy has been the Principal of Verdigris Architects since 2010, focusing on residential and commercial projects. For the previous 15 years, she was Sole Proprietor of Amy Hummerstone Architect and worked on many residential projects, from historic to contemporary. Prior to that, Amy was with several New Jersey architecture firms where she worked on a variety of public, educational and commercial facilities. Her responsibilities included design, construction documentation and administration, and project management. She has extensive experience of the specific requirements for many types of projects.
Throughout the varied experience of her career, Amy has created architecture that complements and fits seamlessly within the context of the surrounding environment. She takes particular care to respect the history and character of the existing neighborhood.
